Rcvd call at 8:32 am. Picked up, fax trying to come in

This called said they had an affidavid for me and gave me a reference number. This is a different debt collector which has tried to collect a debt which I do not have.

received calls 5 times a week at least no one on the other line. it is annoying as hell.

caller claimed to be John Cross, from Cross Construction returning my bosses call- which was not true, I asked for his number to have the boss call him back and he gave me a number that was not accurate, then insisted on my bosses cell number, when I refused he cursed at me and hung up

Called from an Education Advance- supposedly I filled out a form online stating that I was interested in obtaining a degree, which isn't true because I graduated from college 5 years ago. I told them to take me off the call list. If they call me again I'm reporting them.

This number has been calling my daughter for more than 4 months, EVERY night around 7:55. A voicemail is left to call Valued Servies. When I have called previously, I have never been able to speak to a person. Instead I get a "full" voicemail, so I haven't even been able to lwave a message. My daughter just turned 18, and has never had a credit card, or store account. She has never even had a job and is a high school student. This is utterly ridiculous! I registered her number on the do not call list when we got her number last June. So I did file a complaint tonight. I am furious that a company would use these types of business practices. There are federal laws that are supposed to protect innocent people. Where are they when someone really needs them????

Caller would NOT tell me what company she was with, nor why she was calling, nor did she know the time zone I am in. And she used the company owner's first name as if she knew him. Not quite rude, but not very friendly, either.
